On Entre Amigos album, Luis Eduardo Aute have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Luis Eduardo Aute has. ‘Entre Amigos’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Entre Amigos is not something you should pass up.
Rosas en el Mar is probably one of Luis Eduardo Aute’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Aleluya Num. 1 is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Luis Eduardo Aute. Lyrics of Cuarto y Diez are precise and evocative. Luis Eduardo Aute breathes new life into the music in Amor Te Digo Esta Palabra. In Recordandote Luis Eduardo Aute is at his best. In El Ascensor it becomes nowhere more obvious that Luis Eduardo Aute has yet to define own style. Paraules d’Amor is Luis Eduardo Aute’s best work in years. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Queda la Musica (4:08) - awsome. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. De Paso is almost impossible to review. As always, Luis Eduardo Aute’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Padre hits the heart. This is one hell of a track. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. No Te Desnudes Todavia is a bit of a show-tune. Libertad as a highlight of Entre Amigos contains a ton of perfect melodies. De Alguna Manera [Canta Joan Manuel Serrat] is nothing but pure genius. Pasaba Por Aqui is simply astounding. I’ve found myself listening to Para Vivir back to back and back many times. Mira Que Eres Canalia is amazing song though, very addictive. Dentro [Canto Silvio Rodriguez] is pretty funky and mellow. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. When I listen to Anda Suelto Satanas [Canta Teddy Bautista] in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Entre Amigos is a strong cut, one of many.
