Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Lustmord on ‘A.T.M.O.M.’. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Lustmord’s album A Document Of Early Acoustic A falls to No. 2 with 629,000, a sales slide of 72%. Since Lustmord last CD (A Document Of Early Acoustic A) on Blue Note Records back in 1982, I have felt a massive void in my life. Overall, I would highly recommend A Document Of Early Acoustic A CD.
In Headplate full palet of sound is used by Lustmord to accentuate the presentation. Sibling - Lustmord first major hit. I like Murderwrecker because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. After about the third Slab Stone listen through, I began to believe this song is Lustmord’s essence. Arise - Check out that bassline! Credo-Nemo is simple, dignified and effective, Lustmord refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Beast Of Burden, Beast Of Prey is outstanding work of Lustmord. I listened to the opening track Ovenblast (Live 10.81) and liked it a lot. Amok (Live 2.82) is beautiful, yet underrated track. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Words Of Voice because the melody in the chorus is so good. If you are a Lustmord fan, you will love Boneing Of Men. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
