There is so much to love about Lustmord, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. IF YOU LIKE ALL Lustmord’S SONG GO FOR IT! Lead single “Of Bones Of Men” and “Boneing Of Men” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. If I may, I suggest “Of Bones Of Men”. That one song is amazing!
I like to sing along with Boneing Of Men, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Listening to Words Of Voice you can hear that Lustmord has still amazing chemistry with band members. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Ovenblast (Live October, 1981) is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Beast Of Burden, Beast Of Prey - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Credo-Nemo is excellent and different song. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Slab Stone is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. In Murderwrecker the music gets its power. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on A Document Of Early Acoustical and Tactical Experimentation.
