After seeing Death Tone, I had to have a good Manowar cd. Since completing 1982’s ‘Death Tone’, Manowar fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Manowar was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Manowar and Battle Hymns together. Battle Hymns is the best essence of Manowar.
Metal Daze (4:20) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Fast Taker is a striking and quite long song. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Manowar is the song that really did it for me. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
