It has been two years Maria Mendiola (Ex. Baccara)’ last studio CD, “Born Again” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. After seeing Higher and Higher, I had to have a good Maria Mendiola (Ex. Baccara) cd. Born Again is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Maria Mendiola (Ex. Baccara) is one of my favourite bands of all time.
(When They Beueved) They Were An Angel defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Haunted Hy Your Love is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. C.A.R.I.B.A.M.E.R.I.C.A. as a highlight of Born Again contains a ton of astounding melodies. Maria Mendiola (Ex. Baccara) offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. I’ve found myself listening to The Time Of Your Life back to back and back many times. Luxuty Life - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Maria Mendiola (Ex. Baccara). That Thing is a fine track on any terms. Don’t Take My Heart Away is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit.
