Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Maywood’s new album to that on ‘Colour My Rainbow’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. While no new Maywood album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1983 tour in Africa. Star and Ask For Tina is really good.
Ask For Tina - A strong beat. Music and lyrics of Colour My Rainbow creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I can’t stop playing Get Away. If You Wanna Be Free - Maywood first major hit. In I Believe In Love you won’t find any flashy solos. Circumstance is worth the money. Maywood breathes new life into the music in Be My Man. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. One-Way Street is another strong production from Maywood. In Eres Tu it becomes nowhere more obvious that Maywood has yet to define own style. I love the melodic melody of Friday Night and to this day it makes me feel good. Bonus Show Me The Way To Paradise one of the best in my collection. The song feels complete. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
