This is the first studio album from Mia Martini since bad diagnosis in 1983. This disc has all of the essential Mia Martini classics. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Mia Martini on ‘Alice’. To me Mia Martini is the best band ever.
Wuthering heights (Cime tempestose) marked the continuation of Mia Martini in style evolution. I love the melodic melody of Ed ora dico sul serio (live) and to this day it makes me feel good. Guilty is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Il pescatore is a very catchy tune. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Le ali della mente (live) because the melody in the chorus is so good. Imagine (Live) is Mia Martini’s best work in years. This song stands out greatly from the others. I now have Signora as one of my personal favorites. I hope to keep hearing Mia Martini works for a long time to come. The first time I listened to Un giorno dopo l altro (live) I was struck by its gorgeous sound. Get Miei compagni di viaggio - In concerto and turn on Valsinha if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Vedrai vedrai motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. After you’ve listened to Taxi giallo, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate.
