Lead single “Les bals populaires” and “Et mourir de plaisir” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Michel Sardou’s debut, ‘Integrale (1970)’, does not fit easily into one genre. IF YOU LIKE ALL Michel Sardou’S SONG GO FOR IT! This is one of Michel Sardou best albums
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Integrale (1970) is Et mourir de plaisir. J’habite en France is a good listen every once in a while. La neige marked the continuation of Michel Sardou in style evolution. Quelques mots d’amour has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Still going through Integrale (1970) and coming to appreciate Les dimanches more and more with every listen. Restera-t-il encore is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. I balli populari (Les bals populaires) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The sound of Star’con te e’ morir’ (Et mourir de plaisir) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created.
