Integrale (1982) carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This album has some very good songs like Diez anos ya (Dix ans plus tot) and Si yo fuera (Si j’etais). Since completing 1982’s ‘Diez anos ya (Dix ans plus tot)’, Michel Sardou fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Smart music for smart people.
Si yo fuera (Si j’etais) - A classic Michel Sardou track. Mi generacion (La generation loving you) is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. La otra mujer (L’autre femme) (2:47) a good melody. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I find myself hearing bits of Musica (version espagnole) here and there throughout my waking hours. Album opener Afrique adieu is a bright, upbeat ditty. Cote soleil is one of the coolest songs Michel Sardou has ever recorded. Les annees trente is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Il etait le (le fauteuil) is nothing but pure genius. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Merci… pour tout (merci papa). This song may be the most meaningful. Vivant catches attention immediately, I came to like Ma memoire. A fantastic track full of wonder. Afrique adieu (version courte) is cool and different song.
