A des annees dici is the more seemingly obscure song on Palais Des Congres 79 that bear up best to repeated listening. Les vieux maribs is probably the most interesting track on Palais Des Congres 79. Aujourdhui peut-etre is one of the best records ever. 6 milliards, 900 millions, 980 mille is one of the best records ever. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Michel Sardou. The first time I listened to Mon fils I was struck by its marvelous sound. La marche en avant defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Musically Je vais taimer is superior to other tracks in Palais Des Congres 79. Je vole (4:24) a good melody. Les villes de solitude is a very catchy tune. e vous ai bien eus is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Michel Sardou ever produced. It’s such an underrated song. Le temps des colonies motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Un roi barbare - Okay, I just talked about depth. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Le France (4:00) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Dix ans plus tot is really a nice song to relax and listen too. En chantant is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. La java de Broadway is a song to enjoy for years to come. I like to sing along with Dans la meme annee, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Deborah is the funkiest number on the album. Vocals of Michel Sardou in Je ne suis pas mort, je dors really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Mefions-nous des fourmis have really caught my ear and imagination. Verdun had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Lanatole - For me, this is the best of the album. Carcassonne is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. I can’t stop playing X-ray. Ils ont le petrole, mais cest tout is a good listen every once in a while. Once Quand je serai vieux gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Charming song, great melody. La main aux fesses is a amazing, simple song by Michel Sardou at the top of his game. Its not too late to start again (Les vieux maries) rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Last flight (Je vole) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about.
