This is the first studio album from Mike Oldfield since bad diagnosis in 1980. There is no doubt that Mike Oldfield has talent. Now signed to Mike Oldfield’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Q.E. 2″ leads Mike Oldfield’s back-to-school campaign. I wish that “Q.E. 2″ album was instrumental.
This song stands out greatly from the others. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Arrival has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Wonderful Land - I like this one. The first time I listened to Mirage I was struck by its perfect sound. QE2 is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. In Molly the music gets its power.
