This is one of the best Cd’s Miles Davis has dropped to date. IF YOU LIKE ALL Miles Davis’S SONG GO FOR IT! Since Miles Davis last CD (Bluing - Miles Davis Plays The Blues 1951-56) on Blue Note Records back in 1957, I have felt a massive void in my life. Enjoy the show.
As always, Miles Davis’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Bags Groove make listening to Miles Davis like being in some sort of time warp. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Dr. Jackle - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. No Line is the more seemingly obscure song on Bluing - Miles Davis Plays The Blues 1951-56 that bear up best to repeated listening. I like the idea behind Vierd Blues. In Trane’s Blues Miles Davis is at his best. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
