This disc has all of the essential Miles Davis classics. Miles Davis was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Miles Davis and Moon Dreams together. ‘Moon Dreams’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
In Jeru-Mulligan you won’t find any flashy solos. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. I like the idea behind Venus De Milo-Mulligan. Boplicity-Henry is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. I can’t stop humming along Israel-Carisi. Miles Davis must have run out of lyrics on the next track Rouge-Lewis. Moon Dreams-Mcgregor-Mercer is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Deception-Davis is perfect song though, very addictive. Rocker-Mulligan is a good listen every once in a while. Darn That Dream-Delange-Vanheu - A strong beat. ’round Midnight-Monk-Williams is one of the best records ever.
