On the USA charts, superstar Motorhead’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. On Another Perfect Day album, Motorhead have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Since completing 1983’s ‘Back At The Funny Farm’, Motorhead fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. IT makes me wanna dance!
In Shine Motorhead spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Simple and heartfelt closing track Dancing On Your Grave closes Another Perfect Day on a high note. Rock It gives taste of what makes Motorhead special as a musician. One Track Mind - For me, this is the best of the album. Another Perfect Day - Check out that bassline! This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I Got Mine is the song that really did it for me. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Die You Bastard is my favorite song on Another Perfect Day.
