Motorhead isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It’s natural for Motorhead to take a stab at ‘Motorhead’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. There is so much to love about Motorhead, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. I Love Motorhead from start to finish!
Such hits like Vibrator will leave you hooked. After you’ve listened to Lost Johnny, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Iron Horse / Born To Lose as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Motorhead. Musically Keep Us On The Road is superior to other tracks in Motorhead. The Watcher is a strong cut, one of many. The Train Kept A-Rollin’ is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. City Kids is one of the coolest songs Motorhead has ever recorded. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Motorhead. On Parole is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Don’t judge Instro on the first listening. I’m Your Witch Doctor is the first taste of the new album.
