Malice In Wonderland isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On the Andorra charts, superstar Nazareth’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. After seeing Holiday, I had to have a good Nazareth cd. Enjoy the show.
It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Talkin’ To One Of The Boys great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Heart’s Grown Cold - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Nazareth. Nazareth is hitting on all cylinders in Fast Cars. Big Boy is one of the best records ever. Talkin’ ‘Bout Love is a very catchy tune. Fallen Angel is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Ship Of Dreams has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Nazareth’s strong vocals come to the fore. Turning A New Leaf is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Nazareth sings Heart’s Grown Cold (Live) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Razamanaz (Live) is probably the highlight of the album. Hair Of The Dog is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. You have to get essence of the Talkin’ To One Of The Boys’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
