Since completing 1973’s ‘Time Fades Away’, Neil Young fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Neil Young’s album Time Fades Away falls to No. 2 with 366,000, a sales slide of 77%. Such great and happy songs.
Journey Through The Past is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Music and lyrics of Yonder Stands The Sinner creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. L.A. is one of the more up-tempo songs on Time Fades Away. This track is clearly meant to showcase Neil Young’s vocal abilities. Strong, powerful vocals of Neil Young in Don’t Be Denied are very impressive. Charming song, great melody. Last Dance - For me, this is the best of the album.
