This album has some very good songs like Personality Crisis and Looking For A Kiss. There is so much to love about New York Dolls, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. There is no doubt that New York Dolls has talent. New York Dolls “New York Dolls” is an amazing album.
Simple and heartfelt closing track Looking For A Kiss closes New York Dolls on a high note. Vietnamese Baby - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Lonely Planet Boy have really caught my ear and imagination. New York Dolls couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Frankenstein (Orig.). Trash is probably the highlight of the album. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Subway Train is astounding. The first time I listened to Pills I was struck by its exquisite sound. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
