Hear has compared writing for Nina Hagen’s new album to that on ‘Nunsexmonkrock’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Nina Hagen energies, virtually a rebirth. This is what good Alternative should be.
Smack Jack - I just love it. Taitschi-Tarot is really the reason why I recommend buying Nunsexmonkrock. Dread Love is a amazing sing-along. Future Is Now is a very catchy tune. Only one song from Nunsexmonkrock named Born In Xixax really got me. Iki Maska is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Dr. Art is the albums biggest surprise. Cosma Shiva is a striking and quite long song. There is marvelous mix of music in UFO. TV-Glotzer (White Punks On Dope) one of the best in my collection. Superboy had me crying as I was able to relate so well. African Reggae is excellent and different song. Wir Leben Immer Noch (Lucky Number) is probably the most interesting track on Nunsexmonkrock.
