Since Nomadi last CD (Francesco Guccini E I Nomadi) on Virgin Records back in 1979, I have felt a massive void in my life. Francesco Guccini E I Nomadi isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Nomadi’s debut, ‘Francesco Guccini E I Nomadi’, does not fit easily into one genre. canzone per un’amica and atomica is really good.
Nomadi has astounded me with this amazing track. noi non ci saremo (3:28) - awsome. per fare un uomo is Nomadi’s best work in years. primavera di Praga is one of the more up-tempo songs on Francesco Guccini E I Nomadi. dio e morto - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Nomadi must have run out of lyrics on the next track Auschwitz. noi has a fun tempo. statale 17 still maintains something of a specific flourish.
