After debuting at No. 1 last week, Nova’s album Sun City falls to No. 2 with 260,000, a sales slide of 74%. Sun City isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Nova had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Sun City is the best essence of Nova.
Modern Living have really caught my ear and imagination. Illusions is astounding song though, very addictive. I have all of Nova’s tracks and Light Were My Years is probably the most his introspective effort. Sailors is probably one of Nova’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Nova allows each song to breathe and flourish. The song feels complete. All You Have (Is What You Are) is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Star Child can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Nova is all about.
