Cuento para un Nino as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. El Desierto y La Lluvia - A strong beat. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Omara Portuondo and Martin Rojas is A Salvador Allende en Su Combate por la Vita. Chile Presente gets you up and jumping. I like the agression and power of Lagrimas Negras. Once you hear Pena, you will listen to it over and over. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Gracias a la Vida still maintains something of a specific flourish. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Te Doy Una Cancion is my favorite song on Omara Portuondo and Martin Rojas. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Tan Breve is pretty funky and mellow. I like El Manicero because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Siboney - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. La Era Esta Pariendo un Corazon which is my favorite is a truly Omara Portuondo sounding song. Omara Portuondo rocks harder than ever with Ayer el Sol. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Los Caminos is the first taste of the new album.
