Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Oscar Peterson Trio comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This sixteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Oscar Peterson Trio has. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Oscar Peterson Trio. Last Hot Album by Oscar Peterson Trio
Blue Moon is simple, dignified and effective, Oscar Peterson Trio refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Only one song from Pastel Moods named East Of The Sun (West Of The Moon) really got me. In I Can’t Get Started full palet of sound is used by Oscar Peterson Trio to accentuate the presentation. I Don’t Stand A Ghost Of A Chance With You is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Moonglow is a very catchy tune. No Oscar Peterson Trio song has come close to capturing my attention as My Old Flame did. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Musically Sweet Lorraine is superior to other tracks in Pastel Moods. There’s A Small Hotel is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Oscar Peterson Trio emotions are reflected through These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You). They Can’t Take That Away From Me is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. After you’ve listened to Unforgettable, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. You Go To My Head - A catchy, upbeat tune. One listen to the sheer beauty of You Turned The Tables On Me was all I needed.
