There is so much to love about Pat Metheny, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Since Pat Metheny last CD (Travels (CD 1)) on Virgin Records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. There were many famous songs of Pat Metheny available. To me Pat Metheny is the best band ever.
This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Within the first few notes of Goodbye it’s perfectly clear that Pat Metheny is living this song. Phase Dance - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Straight On Red is one of the coolest songs Pat Metheny has ever recorded. Farmer’s Trust - A strong beat.
