Since completing 1982’s ‘Tech-No-Logical World’, Patrick Cowley fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Smart music for smart people.
Invasion is a good listen every once in a while. The song They Came At Night ending is my favorite… so catchy! Mind Warp one of the best in my collection. Primitive World gives taste of what makes Patrick Cowley special as a musician. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Mutant Man. Some call Goin’Home from Mind Warp as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Invasion (Remix) is the song that really did it for me. Patrick Cowley sings his heart out in Mind Warp (Remix). Goin’Home (Remix) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. You have to get essence of the Tech-No-Logical World (Instr.)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Tech-No-Logical World (Radio Edit) is a very catchy tune.
