I am not a real Punk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Easter’ really is amazing. When you buy a Patti Smith album, you know exactly what you’re getting! On Easter album, Patti Smith have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Space Monkey is one of the more up-tempo songs on Easter. A great put together song. Ghost Dance is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. What sets Babelogue apart is Patti Smith’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. We Three is outstanding work of Patti Smith. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Patti Smith. Voice and instruments in High On Rebellion complement each other. Opening track Easter shows the best of Patti Smith. I love the melodic melody of Godspeed (Bonus Track) and to this day it makes me feel good.
