I am not a real Instrumental music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Mamy Blue’ really is amazing. Now signed to Paul Mauriat’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Mamy Blue” leads Paul Mauriat’s back-to-school campaign. John Digester has compared writing for Paul Mauriat’s new album to that on ‘Mamy Blue’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is my first Paul Mauriat Album and i must say i am blown away.
Best song on the album, love it. We Shall Dance is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Oh! Ma Jolie Sarah on Mamy Blue is solid and easy to listen to. No Paul Mauriat song has come close to capturing my attention as La Bikina did. Musically Smic Smac Smoc is superior to other tracks in Mamy Blue. Vocals of Paul Mauriat in Pour Un Flirt really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Je T’aime Je T’aime - My least favorite song on this album. Les Rois Mages is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Mon Vieux Paris is Paul Mauriat’s best work in years. The Fool is a very catchy tune.
