I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Hearts and Bones’ really is amazing. one years ago, Paul Simon briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Hearts and Bones”. This is the first studio album from Paul Simon since bad diagnosis in 1983. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
The song feels complete. Some call When Numbers Get Serious from Hearts and Bones as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Song About The Moon is exquisite and different song. Think Too Much (a) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Hearts and Bones have ended. Although Train In The Distance is very melodic it is far from sad. Rene and Georgette Magritte With Their Dog After The War is possibly the best song Paul Simon has come up. Cars Are Cars is just simply stunning. The Late Great Johnny Ace is new, fresh, and hypnotizing.
