There Goes Rhymin’ Simon is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is the first studio album from Paul Simon since bad diagnosis in 1973. While no new Paul Simon album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1973 tour in Africa. Unappreciated gift to Rock: Soft Rock
Paul Simon breathes new life into the music in Tenderness. A unique and uplifting song. Something So Right is one of the best records ever. One Man’s Ceiling Is Another Man’s Floor is another favourite of mine. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Paul Simon. Some call Was A Sunny Day from There Goes Rhymin’ Simon as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Learn How To Fall because the melody in the chorus is so good. St. Judy’s Comet is a fine track on any terms. Best song on the album, love it.
