There is so much to love about Pentangle, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. On the Denmark charts, superstar Pentangle’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Pentangle energies, virtually a rebirth. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
when i was in my prime marked the continuation of Pentangle in style evolution. Such hits like lord franklin will leave you hooked. After you’ve listened to cruel sister, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Blew our minds when we first heard jack orion.
