This is one of the best Cd’s Peter Kent has dropped to date. This is the first studio album from Peter Kent since bad diagnosis in 1981. On the Japan charts, superstar Peter Kent’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Happy Weekend is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Hold The Line is one of the more up-tempo songs on Happy Weekend. Feel Like Dyin’ as a highlight of Happy Weekend contains a ton of cool melodies. Mexican Moon is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Peter Kent breathes new life into the music in It’s No Good To Be Alone. This Is Symphony as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Sweet Revenge from the beginning to the end. Shook Up has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Peter Kent’s strong vocals come to the fore. I Just Started To Believe gives good insight into the truths. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
