IF YOU LIKE ALL Phil Lynott’S SONG GO FOR IT! Phil Lynott was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Phil Lynott and The Phil Lynott Album together. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Phil Lynott on ‘Fatalistic Attitude’. I wish that “The Phil Lynott Album” album was instrumental.
The Man’s A Fool motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Old Town is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Phil Lynott is hitting on all cylinders in Cathleen. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Together is another strong production from Phil Lynott. Best song on the album, love it. Phil Lynott sings Ode To Liberty (The Protest Song) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Opening track Gino shows the best of Phil Lynott. Don’t Talk About Me Baby - My least favorite song on this album.
