Since Phoebe Snow last CD (Second Childhood) on Virgin Records back in 1976, I have felt a massive void in my life. Phoebe Snow had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Phoebe Snow. Second Childhood touched my soul like nothing else.
Pre-Dawn Imagination is really the reason why I recommend buying Second Childhood. Isn’T It A Shame is the albums biggest surprise. Goin’ Down For The Third Time is a medium tempo tune. All Over presents the cool mix of instruments on Second Childhood. No Regrets rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Sweet Disposition is probably the most interesting track on Second Childhood. Listening to Cash In you can hear that Phoebe Snow has still amazing chemistry with band members. As always, Phoebe Snow’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Two Fisted Love is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Phoebe Snow ever produced.
