It has been nine years Pina Carminelli - violin, I Musici de Montreal Chamber Orchestra’ last studio CD, “Concerto No.12 in C, Op.5 (12 Concerti a cinque)” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. ‘Concerto No.12 in C, Op.5 (12 Concerti a cinque)’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After seeing III. Allegro, I had to have a good Pina Carminelli - violin, I Musici de Montreal Chamber Orchestra cd. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Simple and heartfelt closing track II. Adagio - Presto - Adagio closes Concerto No.12 in C, Op.5 (12 Concerti a cinque) on a high note. I. Allegro actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Pina Carminelli - violin, I Musici de Montreal Chamber Orchestra’s face.
