After seeing Breathe, I had to have a good Pink Floyd cd. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Pink Floyd on ‘Breathe’. eight years ago, Pink Floyd briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “On The Run (Variation)”. To me Pink Floyd is the best band ever.
I have all of Pink Floyd’s tracks and On The Run (Variation) is probably the most his introspective effort. Time which is my favorite is a truly Pink Floyd sounding song. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Money is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Us And Them is simply gorgeous. Any Colour You Like is simple, dignified and effective, Pink Floyd refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. If you are a Pink Floyd fan, you will love Brain Damage. Eclipse is a medium tempo tune.
