There were many famous songs of Pooh available. Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Pooh comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lead single “L’ultima Notte Di Caccia” and “Ci pensero’ domani” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is in perfect progression from Pooh!
Ci pensero’ domani - This one is lively and fun. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Notte A Sorpresa is simple, dignified and effective, Pooh refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Io Sono Vivo is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. The sound in Pronto, buongiorno, e’ la sveglia is really warm and Pooh’s signature voice is still very much present. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Raccolta 1981-1984 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Cercami. The sound of Aria Di Mezzanotte is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. I hope to keep hearing Pooh works for a long time to come. Opening track Sei tua sei mia shows the best of Pooh.
