On the Malta charts, superstar Pop - Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. It has been fifteen years Pop - Various Artists’ last studio CD, “Little Italy” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This disc has all of the essential Pop - Various Artists classics. If you love Pop - Various Artists as much as I do, then Pop - Various Artists Little Italy is the CD for you!
A great put together song. Marcella: Et L’amour (E I’Amore) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Joe: Quand La Chance Passe (Casino) (Joe Dassin) - Check out that bassline! Marcella: La Mer (Mare) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Marcella: Tant Pis Pour Moi (Guisto O No) is the more seemingly obscure song on Little Italy that bear up best to repeated listening. The sound of Joe: Je Viens Comme Un Voleur (Il Posto Guisto) (Joe Dassin) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. A fantastic track full of wonder. Joe: Sandy (Joe Dassin) is pretty funky and mellow. Duo: Apres La Fete (Jesus) (Joe Dassin & Marcella) is just simply stunning. Joe: C’est Fini (Fine Qui) (Joe Dassin) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Only one song from Little Italy named Joe: A Mon Fils (Sebastian) (Joe Dassin) really got me. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor.
