Lena Valaitis - Johnny Blue - Germany is the album’s biggest hit, I think. A unique and uplifting song. Opening track Peter Sue und Marc - Io senza te - Switzerland shows the best of Pop - Various Artists. Sheeba - Horoscopes - Ireland on The Eurovision Song Contest 1981, Dublin (Ireland) is solid and easy to listen to. Such hits like Island - Monica - Cyprus will leave you hooked. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Yiannis Dimitras - Feggari Kalokerino - Greece is marvelous work of Pop - Various Artists. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. The sound in Bjorn Skifs - Fangad i en drom - Sweden is really warm and Pop - Various Artists’s signature voice is still very much present. Jean-Claude Pascal - C est peut-etre pas l Amerique - Luxembourg sets the tone for the entire album. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Although Emly Starr - Samson - Belgium is very melodic it is far from sad. Bacchelli - Y solo tu - Spain is really the reason why I recommend buying The Eurovision Song Contest 1981, Dublin (Ireland). Sei Memic-Vajta - Lejla - Yugoslavia is a amazing song and it grows on you. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Some of the arrangements found on The Eurovision Song Contest 1981, Dublin (Ireland) are surprisingly edgy. The sound of Carlos Paiao - Playback - Portugal is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Modern Folk Trio group Aysegul Aldinc - Donme dolap - Turkey is the albums biggest surprise. If you are a Pop - Various Artists fan, you will love Finn Kalvik - Aldri I Livet - Norway.
