When you buy a Psychic TV album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is the first studio album from Psychic TV since bad diagnosis in 1982. Lead single “Just Drifting (For Caresse)” and “Terminus/Xtul” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is what good Industrial should be.
Terminus/Xtul on Force The Hand Of Chance is solid and easy to listen to. One listen to the sheer beauty of Stolen Kisses was all I needed. I can’t stop playing Caresse. Guiltless is the more seemingly obscure song on Force The Hand Of Chance that bear up best to repeated listening. No Go Go great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Ov Power is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Message From Thee Temple is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Psychic TV emotions are reflected through Thee Full Pack (For Bachir Attar). I listened to the opening track Catalan and liked it a lot. Just Drifting (Midnight) - Okay, I just talked about depth. Music of Bubbles is gentle, never overbearing. I find myself hearing bits of [ Unlisted ] here and there throughout my waking hours.
