Ranking Dread had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Now signed to Ranking Dread’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Girls Fiesta” leads Ranking Dread’s back-to-school campaign. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Ranking Dread on ‘A1 - God Blessed Children’. If you want to hear real Reggae, get this record now!
Ranking Dread is hitting on all cylinders in A2 - Natty Dread Is A Struggl. A3 - Poor Man - a classic song. I listened to the opening track A4 - Girls Fiesta and liked it a lot. A5 - Africa is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. B1 - Natty On The Rock can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Ranking Dread is all about. B2 - Sister Lorna has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Album opener B4 - Marijuana Soul is a bright, upbeat ditty. B5 - Ranking Ting is a perfect, simple song by Ranking Dread at the top of his game.
