I am not a real Latin music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Mata Virgem’ really is amazing. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Raul Seixas energies, virtually a rebirth. Raul Seixas had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. If I may, I suggest “Judas”. That one song is amazing!
The sound in As Profecias is really warm and Raul Seixas’s signature voice is still very much present. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Conserve Seu Medo is a striking and quite long song. I like to sing along with Negocio E, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Mata Virgem is almost impossible to review. Pagando Brabo is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Magia De Amor is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Todo Mundo Explica is perfect.
