When you buy a Retro - Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This -song debut EP shows the promise that Retro - Various Artists has. After seeing A Summer Place - Percy Faith, I had to have a good Retro - Various Artists cd. Anni Di Hit Parade (1960) constantly brilliant.
Once you hear Apache - The Shadows, you will listen to it over and over. Banjo Boy - Blue - Diamonds is a good listen every once in a while. Binario - Claudio Villa is almost impossible to review. Coccinella - Ghigo is beautiful, yet underrated track. Coriandoli - Mina one is one of the better boring ones. Cynzia - Tony Dallara catches attention immediately, Retro - Various Artists has astounded me with this amazing track. Dove Sei - Paul Anka as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Due Note - Mina - a classic song. E Mezzanotte - Joe Sentieri is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Retro - Various Artists released so far. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Retro - Various Artists. Eri Piccola Cose - Fred Buscaglione is a fine track on any terms. Retro - Various Artists breathes new life into the music in Estate Violenta - Jula De Palma. I like to sing along with Folle Banderuola - Mina, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Still going through Anni Di Hit Parade (1960) and coming to appreciate Genevieve - Giorgio Gaber more and more with every listen. Georgia On My Mind - Ray Charles is a medium tempo tune. Hello Young Lovers - Paul Anka is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. I Te Vurria Vas - Peppino Di Capri is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. I Wanna Be Loved By You - Marilyn Monroe - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. First time I heard Il Cielo In Una Stanza - Gino Paoli was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Il Mare - Sergio Bruni - Okay, I just talked about depth. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Impazzivo Per Te - Adriano Celentano is so unique, as each one of the songs is. It S Now Or Neve - Elvis Presley is worth the money. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Anni Di Hit Parade (1960). Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - Sha Na Na is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Retro - Various Artists ever produced. You can find feelings on this piece of art. La Dolce Vita - Nino Rota is another strong production from Retro - Various Artists. La Gatta - Gino Paoli is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Vocals of Retro - Various Artists in Lettera A Pinocchio - Johnny Dorelli really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Libero - Domenico Modugno is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. I love the melodic melody of Liebelei - Rolf Bauer and to this day it makes me feel good. Lonely Blue Boy - Conway Twitty - A strong beat. Love In Portofino - Fred Buscaglione is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Luna Caprese - Peppino Di Capri - I just love it. As always, Retro - Various Artists’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Meet The Flintstones - The Bc 52 S because the melody in the chorus is so good. Milord - Edith Piaf (4:29) - awsome. Mona Lisa - Conway Twitty is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. This track is a great song that still never gets old. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Anni Di Hit Parade (1960). There is cool mix of music in Mule Skinner Blues - The Fendermen. Mustapha - Bob Azzam is Retro - Various Artists’s best work in years. My Home Town - Paul Anka is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Nessuno Al Mondo - Peppino Di Capri - another great track from the Anni Di Hit Parade (1960) album. I like the idea behind Noi - Tony Dallara. Notte Di Luna Calante - Domenico Modugno is the funkiest number on the album. Nun L Peccato - Peppino Di Capri - Retro - Various Artists first major hit. The song feels complete. Retro - Various Artists is one of artists that allow his songs like Personalite - Caterina Valente to stand on their own and be heard. Pezzettini Di Bikini - Marino Marini is a perfect sing-along. All of songs on Anni Di Hit Parade (1960) and have something to say letting alone Piccola - Adriano Celentano e Anita Traversi. After you’ve listened to Piove - Domenico Modugno, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Pitagora - Adriano Celentano is astounding. In Puppy Love - Paul Anka you won’t find any flashy solos. Quando Vien La Sera - Joe Sentieri to me is the best you can get from Retro - Various Artists. Romantica - Tony Dallara is a bit of a show-tune. Samba De Uma Nota So - Stan Getz Charlie Byrd is really a nice song to relax and listen too. I find myself hearing bits of Se Ci Sei - Umberto Bindi here and there throughout my waking hours. Serenata A Margellina - Aurelio Fierro still maintains something of a specific flourish. Si si si - Domenico Modugno - This one is lively and fun. I think So Danco Samba - Antonio Carlos Jobim is the best song Retro - Various Artists has ever done. A fantastic track full of wonder. Retro - Various Artists emotions are reflected through Stuck On You - Elvis Presley. Tell Laura I Love Her - Ricky Valance is simple, dignified and effective, Retro - Various Artists refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. In Till - Caterina Valente Retro - Various Artists is at his best. Too Much Tequila - The Champs - A classic Retro - Various Artists track. Una Fetta Di Limone - Giorgio Gaber E Enzo Jannacci is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Uno A Te Uno A Me - Dalida has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Voce E Notte - Peppino Di Capri - arguably the best track on Anni Di Hit Parade (1960) album. Vorrei Volare - Piccolo Coro dell Antoniano marked the continuation of Retro - Various Artists in style evolution. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is What A Sky - Nico Fidenco. Why - Frankie Avalon great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. You Mean Everything To Me - Neil Sedaka hits the heart. Blew our minds when we first heard You Re Sixteen - Johnny Burnette.
