This is the first studio album from Retro - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 1962. On the Holland charts, superstar Retro - Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Retro - Various Artists. Anni Di Hit Parade (1962) is the best essence of Retro - Various Artists.
Addio - Domenico Modugno is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. You can find feelings on this piece of art. I’ve found myself listening to Afrikaan Beat - Bert Kaempfert back to back and back many times. I like Angela - Luigi Tenco because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Berimbau - Vinicius De Moraes E Toquinho can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Retro - Various Artists is all about. I listened to the opening track Bonanza - Western Themes and liked it a lot. Music in Boom Boom Boom - John Lee Hooker is perfect as in all tracks of Anni Di Hit Parade (1962). Daniela - Peppino Di Capri is one of the more up-tempo songs on Anni Di Hit Parade (1962). Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Retro - Various Artists breathes new life into the music in Evelyne - Nini Rosso. Best song on the album, love it. Overall a nice softer song. Retro - Various Artists must have run out of lyrics on the next track Gondole Gondole - Sergio Bruni. Retro - Various Artists allows each song to breathe and flourish. Guarda Come Dondolo - Edoardo Vianello is another strong production from Retro - Various Artists. I find myself hearing bits of Happy Birthday Mr President - Marilyn Monroe here and there throughout my waking hours. Retro - Various Artists is hitting on all cylinders in How Wonderful To Know - Cliff Richard. I Left My Heart In San Francisco - Tony Bennett catches attention immediately, Il Faut Savoir - Charles Aznavour one is one of the better boring ones. It S So Easy To Surrender - Tony Williams is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. James Bond Theme - John Barry to me is the best you can get from Retro - Various Artists. Joey Dee The Starlighters - Peppermint Twist is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. La Ballata Dell Eroe - Fabrizio De Andre very upbeat. La Ballata Della Tromba - Nini Rosso which is my favorite is a truly Retro - Various Artists sounding song. After you’ve listened to Non Andare Via - Gino Paoli, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Anni Di Hit Parade (1962) couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Ogni Giorno - Paul Anka. Ogni Notte - Paul Anka is one of the coolest songs Retro - Various Artists has ever recorded. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Pinne Fucile E Occhiali - Edoardo Vianello - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Some call Precipitevolissimevolmente - Caterina Valente from Anni Di Hit Parade (1962) as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Pregher - Adriano Celentano is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Prendi Una Matita - Mina is so unique, as each one of the songs is. I love the melodic melody of Quando Quando Quando - Tony Renis and to this day it makes me feel good. Renato - Mina is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Although Runaround Sue - Dion Belmonts is very melodic it is far from sad. Song Sedici Anni - Nunzio Gallo is actually a funny song. Sei Rimasta Sola - Adriano Celentano was the first single release from the album Anni Di Hit Parade (1962). I hope to keep hearing Retro - Various Artists works for a long time to come. Si L Spento Il Sole - Adriano Celentano - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. In Soldi Soldi Soldi - Sophia Loren it becomes nowhere more obvious that Retro - Various Artists has yet to define own style. Speedy Gonzales - Pat Boone is the more seemingly obscure song on Anni Di Hit Parade (1962) that bear up best to repeated listening. St. Tropez Twist - Peppino Di Capri is the song that really did it for me. Listening to Stai Lontana Da Me - Adriano Celentano you can hear that Retro - Various Artists has still amazing chemistry with band members.
