IF YOU LIKE ALL Retro - Various Artists’S SONG GO FOR IT! nine years ago, Retro - Various Artists briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Hey Paula”. Now signed to Retro - Various Artists’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “I Grandi Interpreti Anni (1964)” leads Retro - Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. Unappreciated gift to Retro
Get I Grandi Interpreti Anni (1964) and turn on Hey Paula if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Con te sulla spiaggia - For me, this is the best of the album. Retro - Various Artists sings Ti dire in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Apri le tue braccia e abbraccia il mondo (2:23) a good melody. Although Trani a goge is very melodic it is far from sad. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. In La donna di picche it becomes nowhere more obvious that Retro - Various Artists has yet to define own style. Armonia e poesia sets the tone for the entire album. Pinne fucile ed occhiali is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Retro - Various Artists released so far. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Musically Se devo vivere is superior to other tracks in I Grandi Interpreti Anni (1964). Stessa spiaggia stesso mare presents the exquisite mix of instruments on I Grandi Interpreti Anni (1964).
