This is one of the best Cd’s Retro - Various Artists has dropped to date. It’s natural for Retro - Various Artists to take a stab at ‘L immensite’ considering her long-professed love for Green Grey. I Grandi Interpreti Anni (1966) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I wish that “I Grandi Interpreti Anni (1966)” album was instrumental.
Io mi fermo qui is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. I like the idea behind I tui capricci. Serena - Okay, I just talked about depth. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. In Per un bacio piccolissimo full palet of sound is used by Retro - Various Artists to accentuate the presentation. Still going through I Grandi Interpreti Anni (1966) and coming to appreciate La pagina da scrivere more and more with every listen. Ridere (2:57) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! This song may be the most meaningful. I have all of Retro - Various Artists’s tracks and Stasera mi butto is probably the most his introspective effort. A chi - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Cha Cha Cha medley….. gives good insight into the truths. Exodus is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Luglio is probably the most interesting track on I Grandi Interpreti Anni (1966).
