Come Get It! carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. After seeing Stone City Band, Hi!, I had to have a good Rick James and Stone City Band cd. On the Russia charts, superstar Rick James and Stone City Band’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Such great and happy songs.
This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Rick James and Stone City Band. I loved Sexy Lady the first time I heard it. Album opener Dream Maker is a bright, upbeat ditty. Rick James and Stone City Band must have run out of lyrics on the next track Be My Lady. Mary Jane is one of the best records ever. Hollywood - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Stone City Band, Bye! is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track.
