‘Cost Of Living’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Rick Wakeman had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album has some very good songs like Twij and Pandamonia. This is what good New Age should be.
I love the melodic melody of Pandamonia and to this day it makes me feel good. First time I heard Gone But Not Forgotten was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.In One For The Road the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Bedtime Stories is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Happening Man. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. A unique and uplifting song. After few listenings I started to like Written In A Country Churchyard more and more.
