Since completing 1970’s ‘Sentimental Journey’, Ringo Starr fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There is no doubt that Ringo Starr has talent. Ringo Starr was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Ringo Starr and Sentimental Journey together. If I may, I suggest “Sentimental Journey”. That one song is amazing!
Night And Day is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Whispering Grass is perfect. If you are a Ringo Starr fan, you will love Bye Bye Blackbird. I’m A Fool To Care is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Ringo Starr offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Blue, Turning Grey Over You gives good insight into the truths. I now have Love Is A Many Splendoured Thi as one of my personal favorites. In Dream Ringo Starr is at his best. You Always Hurt The One You Lo is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Have I Told You Lately That I is one of these floating songs. Let The Rest Of The World Go B is a very catchy tune.
