Robert Palmer had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Robert Palmer’s album Some People Can Do What They Like falls to No. 2 with 318,000, a sales slide of 59%. Since Robert Palmer last CD (Some People Can Do What They Like) on Savoy Records back in 1976, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is one of Robert Palmer best albums
Keep In Touch is almost impossible to review. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Some People Can Do What They Like. Some call Spanish Moon from Some People Can Do What They Like as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Have Mercy is really the reason why I recommend buying Some People Can Do What They Like. In Gotta Get A Grip On You, Pt. II Robert Palmer is at his best. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Music of Hard Head is gentle, never overbearing. One listen to the sheer beauty of Off The Bone was all I needed. Some People Can Do What They Like is possibly the best song Robert Palmer has come up.
