Roberto Vecchioni had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Montecristo is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Now signed to Roberto Vecchioni’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “Montecristo” leads Roberto Vecchioni’s back-to-school campaign. One of Roberto Vecchioni’s best albums yet.
Ciondolo is probably the highlight of the album. I listened to the opening track Montecristo and liked it a lot. Reginella (e cinquecento catenelle d’oro is a perfect song and it grows on you. Listening to L’anno che e venuto (via dalla pazza folla) you can hear that Roberto Vecchioni has still amazing chemistry with band members. Canzone da lontano is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. La strega is gorgeous song though, very addictive. I like Madre because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Blew our minds when we first heard La citte senza donne (finale).
